    Thursday was an exciting afternoon in Providence, RI as 11 middle school students got to chat live via Yahoo Messenger with 10 students studying across the globe in Abeka, Ghana.  This chat only lasted one hour and at times the connection slowed communication, but it was the perfect meeting between the two eager groups of students. Students chatted about favorite foods, which led to questions about traditional Ghanaian dishes like Banku and Fufu.  Highlander students introduced themselves as Puerto Rican and Colombian Americans, which was surprising to the Ghanaian students who were unsure wh
